Shakespeare's biographers and Charles Dickens in 'Bleak House' and probably elsewhere document the customary habit of Londoners to vacate the city in the summer months to avoid plague, miasma, the heat, the hoi polloi and so on.

For this reason and maybe others and for this month only the BAA London meeting will be held here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=51.69771,-0.03437 in the summerhouse (zoom in to the exact centre of the map to locate the house or zoom out to find out where it is).

It will be on the expected date, Friday, 28 August 2009, after lunch until everyone has gone home. Electricity, wifi, tea, coffee, light, air and gravity will be available during the meeting.
