MicroAPL Support forum for APLX

I tried to copy/paste APL code between APL v5beta (LINUX) and Firefox or OpenOffice but it doesn't work.
Neither copy nor copy as Unicode .Did I forget something?

The problem is probably caused by the fact there are multiple clipboards in Linux, and different applications behave differently in how they use them. (There's no clearly-defined central clipboard in the way that there is in Windows or MacOS).

Try using the third mouse button to paste into the other application, rather than Ctrl-V. That often works - it uses the X-Windows 'primary selection' clipboard.
