Postby vahanju on Tue Oct 27, 2009 7:52 pm

I tried to install R in my Suse Linux 11. My linux computer has 256mb memory ;) . I never succeeded.
I have used R and aplx in my windows computer without problems.

How much memory does R need?
What are the minimu requirements for R,Linux,APLX +xampp apache server?

We're not sure what the memory requirements of R and Apache are, but they should run fine on a 256MB system. APLX itself requires only about 20MB, unless you need big workspaces.

It should be quite simple to install R under Suse - have you tried asking on the various SuSe aupport forums?
